I am typically pretty anti-modern, but these cards are absolutely beautifull. I have recently purchased a few autographed cards off eBay. There are (4) Michigan State Spartans, so I am pretty happy (Tony Mandarich, Earl Morrall, Brad Van Pelt and Lorenzo White). I plan to buy a few boxes over the holidays and will post some of the scans latter on. I highly recommend any collector to rip a few packs. They should not disappoint.

Did you buy a box yet. I bought 32 packs the other day. I still need to sort out if I am short any on the base set. I know I have plenty of doubles.

Looking at the Topps website, this originally looked to be a hundred card set with players such as Deacon Jones, later omitted. Does any one know why the omissions?
It is a good looking set though.
