I wonder if SGC will ever grade thicker cards?

What do you mean by thick cards? Although I have not tried, I assume they can and will grade the thicker memorabilia cards etc. Is that not the case?

Right now none of the grading companies (SGC, PSA, Beckett) are grading the extra thick jersey and memoribilia cards (ex.SP Authentic Football RC jersey cards). I've asked and so far it is not in any of their future plans.

GAI will grade anything.

They'll put YOU in a slab if you ask them nicely enough.

Beckett does, but not too crazy about them. All companies except Beckett can only grade cards that are 3 cards thick or less. I'm referring to regular memorabilia cards, not the extra thick cards. I sent in a 2001 Fleer Genuine Final Cut Jersey card and it was sent back "Too Thick to Encapsulate", but have 3 of them graded by BGS. If SGC is ever capable of grading thicker cards, I want to cross them over.

Here is what I'm referring to:

Sent to SGC:

Sent to BGS:

They are not extra thick.

That is a nice Berra. As auto states he signed his entire name and not just the
Y. I don't see that too often.
