Old, dense-headed hammers are cool. Best nail pounders.

A new set has landed in 68T baseball land -- Blambro's 1968 Collection -- and it is asolutely amazing. It appears to be in the process of updating, so the averages appear inconsistent with the cards listed...but please go inside and take a look.

All I can say is WOW.

If this isn't enough, Blambro also has 30-ish % of the set on the PSA registry with an average grade in excess of 9.

Blambro, if you are out there -- welcome and congratulations on an outstanding collection.

Perhaps SGC sgould offer this a deal on cross overs to bring his whole 1968 family into the SGC family!!

srs1a,

Wow! That looks pretty good. I was going to ask where are the lower
graded cards to get to that average but then I saw your comment.
Pretty good. Is the goal one on each registry you think or is one
set just a bunch of cert#'s you think?

srs1a,

Blambro has pounded me on so many Ebay auctions for 1968's - its not even funny. I used to get so frustrated when his big bid would post in the last few seconds. Anyway, its good to have cards listed, hopefully some pics will follow.

When's the next big submission planned for your collection?

aconte,

As far as I can tell, this gentlemen buys absolute finest cards available -- with no particular loyalty to their holders. So, in my book is a true high-grade collector. My guess is that the sum of his PSA and SGC sets will not complete the set as I've seen him pick up GAI and BGS/BVG cards, as well. Again, I welcome him to the registry and congratulate him on an absolutely scorching set.

STMF,

Soon...last week I was debating new brakes for the car or a submission. I decided if I didn't get the brakes done, I might not live to receive the cards!
