Alright guys, after much waiting, here they are. I think I did fairly well in predicting where I was going to end up. Cards should arrive Tuesday and will hit the registry shortly thereafter. I copied my original post with my anticipated grades and the actual grades follow to the right.

1) 1933 Goudey Roy Johnson # 8 - SGC 40 .......SGC 30

2) 1952 Berk Ross Ralph Kiner - SGC 40 ..........SGC 50

3) 1958 Topps Robin Roberts # 90 - SGC 50 ......SGC 50

4) 1961 Topps Duke Snider #443 - SGC 60 ........SGC 60

5) 1962 Topps Bobby Layne # 127 - SGC 50 ......SGC 70

6) 1968 Topps Rocky Colavito # 99 - SGC 80 .....SGC 84

7) 1968 Topps Joe Morgan # 144 - SGC 80 ........SGC 60

8) 1968 Topps Brooks Robinson A.S. # 365 - SGC 80 ..SGC 80

9) 1957 Topps Fran Rogel # 27 - SGC 60 ..........SGC 84

10) 1970 Topps Brooks Robinson #230 - SGC 80 ......SGC 80

11) 1970 Topps Len Dawson # 1 - SGC 70 ...............SGC 80

12) 1959 Topps Orlando Cepeda # 390 currently a BVG 8, hoping for at least an SGC 86 ..........................SGC 88

13) 1967 Topps Don Sutton # 445 currently graded a BVG 7.5, hoping for at least an SGC 84 ..............0, minimum grade not met.

14) 1965 Topps Joe Morgan # 16, card was not graded previously by SGC due to being "miscut". Sending it in for a second opinion..........not even mentioned on the online invoice, must have not been graded again due to the factory cut.

All in all, I think I was right on the money. The Berk Ross Kiner card was a pleasant surprise due to the centering that is typical on those cards. I was hoping that the '33 Goudey Johnson card would have hit the 40 mark but it had a slight flaw which knocked it down. The '62 Bobby Layne was also a nice surprise since I figured the black borders would have killed a decent grade.
I'm anxious to see why the 68 Morgan graded 2 below what I thought it would get. The biggest disappointment has to be the 67 Sutton. The razor edges and snow white borders on the old big eared 300 game winner looked way better than the 7.5 that BVG gave it. I guess I'll resubmit with a lower grade expectation. Hopefully the card will detail what it would have gotten had I not specified a minimum grade.

Old, dense-headed hammers are cool. Best nail pounders.

Excellent eye VintageDep!

Too bad on the '68 Morgan. I'm pretty familiar with SGC's grading of '68's. As you know, the burlap design actually hides corner damage (to the naked eye, anyway). SGC seems to be very critical of corners on '68's...my experience says more so than PSA. They also seem to really whack you if you have marginal centering coupled with some corner wear. I did some experimentation in an early invoice where I included 2 cards that I thought might slide into a nmint holder...both came back as 80's. In both cases, I thought that the corner wear was consistent with a low-end nmint card, as was the centering...but the combination landed me in exmt city.

Nice one on the Cepeda!

My invoice is supposed to ship tonight or tomorrow

I'm thinking that the '68 Morgan dipped due to the corners being touched and the slighest amount of T/B centering difference. I thought it was definitely an 80. All in all, I was pleased and surprised by some of the grades.
