Sent in seven PSA 8 cards under the SGC $6 crossover special last month, with a minimum grade of 88. Five crossed and two did not. Four of the five are upgrades to my set, keeping me barely ahead of Randy Stuckemeyer. Eventually, I will fall to #2 as his set is simply off the charts. The duplicate Giallombardo card is available for sale or trade. Enjoy the scans.
Duke in 88, about the best centered one I've ever seen.
Destruction Crew Minoso-Colavito-Doby in 88. Tough card for me, found this PSA 8 at the National in Cleveland last summer. That is a print dot in the upper left border, aside from which I am very pleased to cross this one off my upgrade list.
High No. Al Schroll in 92. Nice surprise as I would have been thrilled with an 88. With a little better centering this might have been a 96. The surface is crystal clear and the colors are jet black, bright yellow and rust red. Nary a print spot, dot or speck (that is a piece of lint on the scanner by his name).
Both Giallombardo 88 cards have the Option Statement. Not much difference between them, both have very minor surface flaws. Not sure which to keep, so one is available if anyone has something to trade. Centering freaks might like 005 better; corner & focus hounds would opt for 004. I'm leaning toward 004 myself.
These are the two "losers" that didn't cross. I wish they had made it. That's a print line and not a surface scratch on Sullivan.

A well-centered '59 Topps card really is a gorgeous thing to see.
I'd hit it.
Actually, I already did. Won it as an 8 on eBay the day after returning from The National. Paid under SMR. People must have either still been in Cleveland or broke from visiting Cleveland to let that one go so low. Don't remember the seller ID.

Seriously, I just looked it up. It was from cardfandan (eBay ID), one Dan Miller from Huntington Beach, CA. I even left this in the feedback for the transaction: "Looking forward to crossing it to SGC88."
