Paul Jas.... He bids on every 57 card in PSA 8. I used to get mad at the fact that he already had the cards but kept bidding. He has a few nice sets on the PSA registry. Dave
Nice pick up on the President card Matt!!! I was shocked that my snipe didn'r fire at $250. That is the best example of that card I have seen in the last 5 years.
My latest batch of crossovers just came in. The Kazanski, Tuttle, and Bauer were PSA 8.5s; the remainder had been PSA 8s. I had 3 cards that did not make the cut.
Those are so extrordinary looking cards! In the SGC holders they are now museum quality. Absolutely beautiful display pieces. If there's anyone who thinks centering is not the #1 1st eye appeal quality of a card. They need to take a glance at these beauties.
Good calls on the look alikes. I see a few more in this group: Pres. William Harridge & former Lakers coach Del Harris and Bill Tuttle & Buck Scholwalter.
John,
You are correct about centering, but a clear picture and sharp corners don't hurt either.
Great job Matt. The President card is my favorite. I have a nice PSA 8 but it doesn't look that good. I have a very short list of 23 cards needed to finish my set. LMK what 3 didn't cross and if PaulJ doesn't get them maybe I can.
