I know of a few that would be interested in this topic. Mattbojo is the man with his posting of his SGC 57's. I know of two PSA 57 collectors, arnyvee and myself. Hopefully there will be enough interest to keep the thread alive and hopefully get a few more into the set. I don't own any SGC 57's YET so my PSA pictures will have to work for now. Theses two are raw I was planning to send in. The Yankees' Power hitters has a slight stain on the right edge and some on the back. It was rejected by PSA in the past. Dave
Those are both nice. I will warn you that the majority of PSA 8s that would not crossover to SGC for me had gum/wax stains on the back of the card. I have only sent in 1 card to SGC raw, it was a '56 Topps: Ted Williams that came back as unable to grade due to evidence of triming(I cracked it out of a PSA 8 holder). I then sent it back to PSA, who also rejected the card. Since that experience I will only send PSA cards in their holders for crossover service. I resell or trade the ones that do not crossover. I will post pictures of new purchases and crossovers in this thread as I get them.
By the way Dave, I picked up a Roy Campanella PSA 7 which I can't wait to see in person! Unless it has soft corners, this is a 'bumper' for sure! I'll post a scan when I get it.

I think McDougald and Shantz will cross to 84, Shantz might even bump to 86. Probably not a cross on Phillips (centering) and Surkont (bottom corners). JMO

Old, dense-headed hammers are cool. Best nail pounders.

I agree with bbo. Shantz may well be bump-worthy. McDougald and Phillips are next, with Phillips tight on centering -- I'd say that card is less than 50/50 to cross. I do not believe that the Surkont will cross.
Arny post the Campy scan when you get it. I think it is a very undervalued card. I have been on a cold spell lately. I haven't won a card in almost a month. I am down to 33 cards and they are not hitting ebay that often. I really don't have too many tough card left and only a few expensive ones.
