Okay, I'll play!
I like the Boyer on the right. Even though the centering and corners are better on the left one, the color really pops on the other - and the white is shockingly white.
I like the Arias on the right for the same reason -the color. But I don't like the centering on the left one, and I'm very partial to well-centered '59 Topps - especially red ones.
I like the Throneberry on the right because I don't like the tilt on the left one.
And I like the Miranda on the left, unless that's a scuff mark and not a scanner artifact inside the right border of the card. If it's a scuff, I'll take the one on the right.
Man, it's tough to find decent upgrades when you actually care how the cards look, isn't it?

Old, dense-headed hammers are cool. Best nail pounders.

Boyer -- LEFT due to centering Arias -- RIGHT cleaner image and better T/B centering. R/L centering is a toss-up Throneberry -- RIGHT, I don't like the tilt on the other card Miranda -- RIGHT, I don't like the print schmutz on the other card
Wait a minute, I can't agree with FYS....

Polls are now closed. Nearly 48 hours is enough time and everyone's input is appreciated. Seems clear for Arias & Throneberry (unanimous thus far) and fairly clear for Boyer, a little less so for Miranda.
Thanks again to all who participated. For those who viewed but didn't vote, well, a pox upon all your flocks and herds.
I've decided to go with the majority: L-R-R-L. Any offers of interest on the ones remaining on the table? I have these extras and can post scans if anyone is interested.

I go with centering over corners. Bad centering is more obvious and detracts from the eye appeal far more than any hint on a corner.
I like my cards just like I like my women...a little off-centered is OK, as long as they don't show any signs of handling and abuse.
I guess we can swap rejects and both of us will be happy?
