July 30th to August 3rd. Chicago - at the Donald Stephens Convention Center (Rosemont Illinios) near the airport. Just Google National Sports Collectors Convention and you will find a link to the website with all the information.

I'm going, looking forward to meeting up with friends and having a good time.

Maybe I'll pick up some cards, too.

Heh. Maybe you're right. Maybe between the two of us, all we left Chicago with was a pack of '78 Topps and a bad headache.

It was fun, though. \:\)

It was a blast, but the first time I've been to a National without finding a single card I needed. I remember standing behind 2 guys in Anaheim in '01 and hearing one say to the other he was lucky if he found 1 card he needed at a show.
It's getting almost as tough on ebay. Who is hoarding all this stuff?

That just mean you have to start collecting some additional sets.

I was at the National on Wednesday night, Thursday, (Friday at the Cubs game) and Saturday and did not notice or hear any talk of the Feds being at the show. I first heard of it after I got home.

It's a big place. I guess if you weren't in front of the Mastro booth or the PSA booth, you missed out.

That's OK. So did all the rest of us who stayed home.

I heard that Derek Grady didn't necessarily play his best hand in front of the Feds. He used to be a SGC grader, if I'm not mistaken. Last I heard, he was still with Mastro.

He's been back at SGC for a while now. I believe he was at Heritage for a bit after Mastro and before returning to SGC.
