#1978674 - 12/23/0810:46 AM1950's Bowman BB Wrinkles on back of card
If I just sell the car, I can up my bid...
I am curious if anyone knows the grading impact of a card back wrinkle on 1950's Bowman card. If the wrinkle is on the front (I've submitted a few cards with this defect) the SGC grade is 50. But if the front is clean, but the back has wrinkle, I don't know if SGC hammers the card to the same VG/EX condition.
Does anyone have any experience with this situation? The card I have is a 1951 Bowman common, but a low-pop card with NM/MT+ corners, centered, snow white borders.
I'm curious to hear anything from the limited Bowman collectors.
Ive experienced this with my 1971 Topps Football set. This condition sensitive set get hammered pretty hard in the first place and many times, while not on the backs, the front top border can sometimes have a little "wiggle" from the factory cut at the top. I don't care how nice the card is they always hammer it for that.
