Hi Guys,

Hall of Famers will always be the most popular. For baseball, we get a lot of Ruths, Cobbs, Mantles, ARods, and Jeters. For basketball, Jordan is the far away leader. For hockey, Gretzky and Orr are always popular. For football, there's a good mix like there is with baseball between Namath, Montana, Brady, Manning, and others.

I am confused at the question. Are you asking what "the" most popular player is or "our" personal most popular player. If the question was the first I would guess Mantle, and the latter would Aaron.

If it werent for the huge upset in super bowl III, I doubt that Namath would have made the hall of fame. Considering he threw about 50 more interceptions than touchdowns in his career.
