No problem and thanks for the follow up. It was a bit tough to figure out for a newbie here

BTW I'm just outside of Cleveland too. I've got the itch to see some cards, so I'm thinking about going to the Great Northern Mall show tomorrow. I hope its more than 10 dealers this time!

I just live in Oberlin! I didn't even know GN was having anything. Do you get to the Strongsville monthly? Their annual is coming up I think next month...that is the BEST show in our area...bar none. Dealers from all over US set up and lots of vintage to be had! \:\) Elyria VFW also has a very small show. FREE admission. If you google card shows it will show you some lonks...Becketts is usually good. Check it out!

GN does it every 2 or 3 months, I don't go every time. The Holiday Inn in Strongsville has a bunch of shows, I think you are refering to the Ohio Sports Collectors Convention, which is put on by Paul Fusco. I went last year, it was a great show. They also have some Sunday shows put on by other promoters throughout the year.

Anyone want to meet up at GN tomorrow, let me know! I'll be the guy looking for a 1960 Roger Maris AS card.

Barry, I have crossed over 100s of cards. SGC will not show bias to the other company's flip. If the card meets their standards of an 86, that is what your 7 would cross to. I personally put a Min. Grade of 88 on all 8s I send in and 92 on the 9s. If it does not meet the min. grade it is returned in its original holder and sold on EBay. I have had Many cards receive half grade bumps, but I am pretty picky on what I send in. I would not crack the majority of my submissions because I am too afraid of EOT.

We will evaluate all crossovers in accordance with our grading standards. The most important thing a customer must do is note their minimum grade, but once it is determined that the card will cross, the graders may feel that it is a strong candidate for a higher grade and grade it as such.
