OH MAN!!!!!!!!!! I can just imagine the year 1952 at the Soda Shop getting a Ice Cream Float and opening a pack of 52's. Could you imagine pulling the card with the Sharp, Fine Painting Type look.

Pics like these never get old. Thanks for Sharing brother!

I've had these 2 cards laying around for a while, so I was glad that the Oversized Special came up last month. They arrived yesterday...

Tom, love the look of those cards. The top card says Canadian Butterfinger.............how in the world did they put a Big Card in a Candy Wrapper??

The term "Canadian Butterfinger" came about due to the fact that those cards were very similar to the premiums that Butterfinger put out in the US.

BTW, those cards didn't really get packaged with the product - if you bought a stick of gum for 1 cent, you were able to get one of these premiums.

I was hoping that they would have put O-Pee-Chee on the flip, since they were the company that distributed them.

This link from the Old Cardboard website explains this issue a lot better than I can: 1934 V94 O-Pee-Chee Premiums

You can, Blackie. Just step into your time machine. You do have a time machine don't you? I could never deal with this hobby without my time machine. It's indispensable and saves me a ton of money. How else could I afford those pristine 1959 Topps? Dang centering and gum/wax stains is what drives me crazy. Fresh gum ain't so bad, though.
