Here are the cards I bought off E-bay for my Registry set that I didnt think would grade high enough for my set. So I sent them off to the respective players to get them signed, only took about a week !
Here's another unique item I received this past week along with my autographed 58 Topps! I am always humbled and amazed how some of the ball players respond!

Hi Barry! I thought next to the Carl Erskine note, this was probably the neatest thing I have gotten yet! It is always amazing how some players respond with such gratitude! Very nice and refreshing to think my asking for his autograph made his day!

Ask him if you can borrow his car. Or if you can spend the night in his guest room to save you on hotel bills. Or maybe a low interest loan to buy more cards.
