Now I remember...these are definitely REPRINTS...the scratched out portion of the backs are where the word REPRINT appeared...they came out of some reprint set you could buy years ago in an album of the whole set. 100% REPRINT!

Sorry, but I agree with everyone else here that those are reprints.

For example, if you look at the Diamond Stars cards (the 'Schoolboy' Rowe & the other one), the easiest way to tell that they are both reprints is that the borders are white. Borders on authentic Diamond Stars cards are cream colored, and should exactly match any "white" area on the card (like a uniform). Like this...

Thanks guys. I appreciate your comments. I got these cards years ago when I was a kid. Probably traded for them but I dont remember. I dont have big bucks tied up in them and yall have saved me the money that I would have spent grading them. Now onto another issue. My grandmothers sister which would have been my Great Aunt(Isnt that correct?) was Bill Dickeys sister-in-law. I met Mr. Dickey a few years before he passed away and had a ball autographed by him. I would like to have it graded/Authenticated. Any suggestions? On a side note. I can remember when I was very young going to stay with Bills brother Gus Dickey. They always claimed that Gus had the most talent but I think he injured his arm or something such as that. Anyway, I remember Uncle Gus had this huge Gold glove with a ball sitting in it. Many of the Big Players from that era had signed it. The Babe just being one of many.
