Does anyone know of any variations within the 1933 Goudey set? The only two that I am aware of are:

#6 Jimmy Dykes: variation in listed age (26 and 36); my version lists him (incorrectly) as 26 years old.

#47 Heinie Manush: variation in whether or not there is fence depicted at the top of the bleachers behind Manush's name; my version shows no fence.

Anyone know of any others?

How did you find out about the #47 Manush variation? It took me a long time (5 years I think) collecting the set before I realized it. It was not referenced any where when I read about the set.

I do not think there are any other variations, but there are some oddities...which are better placed in the "error" column.

I think I read about the #47 Manush variation on the Net54 board - it was buried in the Archive over there.

My Dykes card has him listed as 26 as well.

The #47 Manush variation is listed in the Standard Catalog of Baseball Cards, 2010 edition.

First appearance of the #47 w/ and w/o fence Manush was in the 2009 edition.
