I've tried to buy a card from a dealer (1887 Old Judge Cap Anson). All of his other cards are graded by SGC but this one is raw. He says they wouldn't grade it because it was "rebacked." What does this mean and is there any possible way I could purchase it and send it in so they slab it as Auth.? Thanks for any input

Rebacked means that the front of one card is attached to the back of another card--two cards making one. SGC will not authenticate these at all.
