I am making a new MAIL CALL POST and ask everyone to join me if they would to post their new pick ups on this thread. The reason why is because so many have posted on the original that it is very slow loading and sometimes causes crashes because of the vast number of scans. I learned this through my autograph postings on another board to divide up my scans otherwise people usually have a hard time looking at the thread. Believe it or not still a lot of dinosaur computers people use that don't have a lot of processing speed and this is a nightmare for them to look at...lol I was just looking at the original thread and man did it take me a LONG time getting the vast number of scans to download! So, I hope this will help everyone enjoy the postings more...

Well, I am trying to get away from set building/owning sets but this '75 set was just too hard to resist. Bought this last week and have had no regrets thus far, a few stars:

Of all the 70s sets I can remember opening and trying to build as a kid, the 75 stands out most vividly I think because of the sold colored borders and the big stars that was designated for All-Stars. I also stupidly opened a mini box in the early 80s only to find the box obviously had been preopened and resealed. I know this because none of the big stars of the day were remotely found, especially the Brett, Yount RCs or Rose and Ryan cards. I still like the classic look and feel of early 70s sets.

Love the Carolina Brights - it looks like it should have graded a 4. Are you a Pirates collector or is that just a coincidence?
