When asked, "How is it you always skate to where the puck is?" Gretzky answered, "I don't skate to where the puck is, I skate to where the puck is going to be."

Obviously, on the front of the card, Gretzky got there ahead of the stats on the back.

Once again, graders don't always understand what they're doing.

I had this discussion with a Net54 member, but cards like that Gretzky are not really miscuts. They are misprints. The term "miscut" insinuates that the card was cut wrong. The card was not cut wrong. It was printed wrong. The print on the front is not aligned with the print on the back. In other words, if it is a "miscut," what could have been done differently during the cutting process to prevent the problem? The answer is nothing because it is a misprint – not a problem in the cutting process, but a problem in the printing process. PSA needs to pull their head out of their butt and start labeling these correctly with a PD (print defect) qualifier instead of a MC qualifier.

Yes, you are right topps guy..I am a printer and i know what happens when the cards are not equal on back..its the registration betwween front and back, each sheet pulls to a guide for register this sheet either did not pull or somtimes it can pull under the guide.. usually someone should catch the mistake before packaging but we are only human..I think the card is great and guess what probally 1 of a kind...
