Thank you Jim and Scott! I couldn't resist the urge to purchase a nicely centered card. Most of my set is mid-grade. I still love it and enjoy all of my 58's but sometimes its nice to splurge a little....LOL

Happy bout the 86 for sure. Bought this from New England sportscards last year. Heard horror stories but it was after i pulled the trigger on the auction.

1 1958 Topps 64 JOE LONNETT 55
2 1958 Topps 110 JOHNNY LOGAN 55
3 1958 Topps 168 JOE CUNNINGHAM 50 (pretty bad off center)
4 1958 Topps 193 JERRY LUMPE ROOKIE 86 (very nice)
5 1958 Topps 212 BUBBA PHILLIPS 80 (almost an NM card)
6 1958 Topps 252 BOB TROWBRIDGE 80
7 1958 Topps 294 HAL JEFFCOAT 70

Scott i think it should be 80%. Im so happy and love the 50's as much as the high grades. Cards should be here by Friday i hope. Trying to save to get a large sub up. Gosh i love this hobby!

What a great day today. Finally another person in my home town that collects baseball cards. Met with a man today after talking 50's baseball and he has a near complete set of 58 Topps baseball raw in NM or better. Very excited about filling gaps with those cards. We talked for 15 minutes about cards and the good ole days and exchanged address, phone numbers emails etc. Should be able to meet with him soon and work out a deal on those cards im needing for the set. Just great to meet up with another collector so close.

That's some good news for you Rob! Hopefully you will be able to add some cards needed to complete your set, or at least upgrade some of your lower-end cards.
