Added pics of my Mantle, Kaline and Ford to my Registry. Gosh i forgot how fun this is. Another Big thanks to Earl for getting me started. What a awsome stress reliever from being an NCO during the day to a Collector and Dad at night.

Blackie...I just looked at your 58s....WOW! I absolutely LOVE the Colavito!!! Congrats! Good luck on the set. I will be looking forward to seeing more!
The Brooks Robinson from the 58 set is one of my most favorite cards of all. I love others from the set, but that particular card Rob is the very card I won from Heritage and the card that got me started collecting the set. I'm very happy to see you enjoying the set and cards and glad to know someone else enjoying part of the set I love so much!

You all know im working the 58 set. How do you guys go about working you sets and building them. Do you prefer getting the commons and minor stars in higher grades first and then move to the Stars occasionally? Thats essentially what ive been doing. Im sitting on several commons that Im going to trade for cards I don't have. I know thats a way to make up some cards I don't have. With a tight budget I have a hard time landing any SGC 84 or higher main stars. May have to do some saving but right now the goal is the wipe out as many commons as possible and look for the Yellow Letter or special cards that may be out there.
Does this sound about right to you all???? Im open to opinions....
Thanks...

Blow off the variations until 100% complete otherwise. Buy commons raw and submit yourself. Save up and buy stars already graded. Trading is probably not going to happen for you, so don't count on it.
