Acquired this stunning Mick card in a trade with "the mailman."
Wow, I didn't know Karl Malone even collected cards.

It's not THAT mailman. I just didn't want to reveal too much regarding my source; however, certain highly-placed insiders may know who I'm talking about.
HINT: It's not the US Post Office up to no good.

Thanks, T. I was certainly flirting with breaking the Tenth Commandment for a while on Sandy K.

Beautiful vintage!
I vote for a cross on the '59 Banks - SGC 88

I only made 3 trades at the show.I traded a 54 Mays PSA 6 + 375 for the 57 Mantle.I traded a 1952 high # Burgess SGC 88 + a grand for the 53 Mays.I traded a high # 1952 PSA 6 + 210 for the 58 Williams.I also sold a 55 Clemente + 4 more SGC stars out of my 2nd 55 set.I sold a lot of other, mostly common PSA graded, for 50% to 60% of SMR.On some of the commons i sold,i would get a price from a dealer & then i would go back to the room to get them. The guy who went with me would say,ill give that for them,so i sold some to him. That worked pretty well until we got home & he said he didnt want the goudeys that i had sold to a dealer at 60% of SMR.They r PSA & SGC graded with several stars.I was a little peeved about that but all in all i had a pretty good time.I also traded for a 56 Mantle ungraded,i forgot about that, for 2 52 high #s & got 500.Ill scan it later.Ur welcome to comment on how bad they got me but 2 out of the 3 graded cards that i traded for i needed for my sets.I have a PSA 6 Mays extra now. This is kinda rambling but i still have car lag,i have to call it that because we drove up.

Wow, that Koufax looks crispy 4 mint corners. That Banks has sweet centering. In terms of trading Goldenhawk as long as you are happy with your new cards than it's a good deal, that Mays is amazing razor sharp corners no chipping there aren't many like that out there...

The Banks MVP Baseball Thrills card is awesome...the registry very clean and clear ... just the way a card should look and super centering! By the way, nice to see you at the BIG SHOW!

The one on top is the one i traded for in Chicago.Which one do u guys think would grade the highest in PSA ? I guess ill go with PSA on my 56 set.Im trying to get my sets in either PSA or SGC for each yr.These will have to stay PSA because i have several in PSA for these yrs.1952,53,55,57,60,61 topps & 54 Bowman. The 54 topps will have to stay SGC.The 58 set i was leaning toward SGC because the ones i have r a better grade than the PSA.The 56,59 & 62 topps,i havent made up my mind completely.I submitted 197 to PSA at the show.I also had 183 to submit to SGC but we couldnt get together on the price. They were all 58s.I can get a better bulk price at PSA & PSA is easier to find if u need to replace any.

The corners on Koufax are a bit deceiving. Three of the four have very slight touches, enough to keep it out of a 92-holder. But it does look mint from the scan due to the color, focus, registry and way better than average centering.
That card is the definition of eye appeal. At first glance the grader probably thought 92, but had to drop it to 88 upon further review.
