Acquired Banks MVP Thrills at a discount to SMR. May cross it. Or not.

Acquired this stunning Mick card in a trade with "the mailman." I challenge you to find a better centered 1959 high number All Star.

Another trade with "the postman" to add this Musial to my Registry set. Isn't is great when one doesn't have to use money to acquire high quality collectibles?

Finally acquired this Koufax card after drooling over it for two years. Seller had it priced at double VCP at several shows I've attended. We were able to reach an agreement with some minor amount of haggling. Although I still paid slightly over book and VCP, I think I came out the winner. He made a profit and I "got the girl." No red print smudges and centering second to no other Koufax I've ever seen.

It's not THAT mailman. I just didn't want to reveal too much regarding my source; however, certain highly-placed insiders may know who I'm talking about.

HINT: It's not the US Post Office up to no good.

Thanks, T. I was certainly flirting with breaking the Tenth Commandment for a while on Sandy K.

I only made 3 trades at the show.I traded a 54 Mays PSA 6 + 375 for the 57 Mantle.I traded a 1952 high # Burgess SGC 88 + a grand for the 53 Mays.I traded a high # 1952 PSA 6 + 210 for the 58 Williams.I also sold a 55 Clemente + 4 more SGC stars out of my 2nd 55 set.I sold a lot of other, mostly common PSA graded, for 50% to 60% of SMR.On some of the commons i sold,i would get a price from a dealer & then i would go back to the room to get them. The guy who went with me would say,ill give that for them,so i sold some to him. That worked pretty well until we got home & he said he didnt want the goudeys that i had sold to a dealer at 60% of SMR.They r PSA & SGC graded with several stars.I was a little peeved about that but all in all i had a pretty good time.I also traded for a 56 Mantle ungraded,i forgot about that, for 2 52 high #s & got 500.Ill scan it later.Ur welcome to comment on how bad they got me but 2 out of the 3 graded cards that i traded for i needed for my sets.I have a PSA 6 Mays extra now. This is kinda rambling but i still have car lag,i have to call it that because we drove up.
