I agree 100% - ain't no way those are 88s even without comparison.

Just playing devils advocate for a second, here is what I see-
Samford- overgraded you got lucky with that 96 maybe a 92 because of the OC
Kline- Card is a solid 96, much better than the samford, you look at them side by side and one was misgraded.
Sievers- solid card, nice color and centering, I would have prolly given it a 92, still does not look as sharp as the Kline because of bottom corners
Nuxhall- 88 at best, top left and bottom right corners do not look nearly as sharp as the other two corners, also looks like a smudge above the D in redlegs.
Thrills- not sure if there is a gum stain or print defect on the E in baseball is looks miscolored in the scan, if its on the slab then a 92 If not then 88 is correct
I feel for you on this BBO but its the main reason I stopped collecting high grade cards, the difference between a 92 and 88 is so small imo almost to the point of stupid. All the cards you posted look amazing and many would say collect them not the numbers on the slabs. Many years ago I switched to collecting vintage VG cards and I have been so much happier, all my cards have issues haha. It also let me pursue so many more great cards that I would not have been able to afford high grade copies.

I feel the same way.... A few years back i was putting together a 1964 PSA graded set in 8 and 9's.... The difference is so insignificant. I was buying the holder not the card. Screw that sh/t im much more happy with nice SGC 60 Koufax at 105 dollars compared to twice that for an 88.... Justsayin

As a collector there may be only very subtle differences between grades. As a seller there may be a huge difference in price. When one has much experience in picking raw cards and grading he should expect a certain consistency. A dealer in high grade cards is doing what he does best in selecting raw cards to submit, not buying a lottery ticket.

bbo has a point. Look at those 84s. Half of them look 88 or higher.

Brick is correct. I believe the issue here is consistency, or the lack thereof.
