Thanks for the kind words Blackie.... Finally clawed my way to top of registry. Has taken a very long time - I believe I started this thing back in 97. Have learned tons along the way - overpaid for many raw cards and eventually underpaid for many more. I picked the 55 set as the photos and card style really reached out and grabbed me. The mystery behind the 4 missing cards added to the appeal and as a bonus, the card set is 1 year older than I am -which for some reason also attracted me.

The only year that Brooklyn won the pennant - and in such dramatic fashion. Ebbets Field and the history there. To me - this set has got it all.

I am actually closer to completion then the registry suggests as I have many cards in the "darkside" holders \:\) Eventually they will all get crossed to SGC. Again - thanks a bunch.
