Say you send in an invoice.Do you wait for your package to arrive or check online for the grades of the cards?I personally like to wait to get the grades in the mail. The anticipation factor is great.Just a quick thought and I wanted to see if others did the same.Thanks.Jason.

I would rather wait for the package. If I check online and see grades that I did not anticipate then I'm pissed off for two more days than I need to be.

//////////////you can also check it early..........here is how
Go to your registry. Type in the Submission number and put a dash with the number the card was annotated on the submission form. For instance:
1234567-001 the first card you submitted
Once you type (your registry) it in it may show you the grade.......
Im not worth a Sh&t at trying to explain this and cannot figure out how to copy the page. Hope this helps. If you not using a registry then i don't know bro

For every sub I've had, I have always checked to see what the grades were before the cards were shipped back.
I have a group of cards going in on the Wild Card Special this month - I may just have to try waiting for the package this time. It will kinda be like getting a Christmas present from SGC!

Heres to Cobb, hope Earl gets one added on the registry soon. Here are a few of my favorites-

If you give in and look, you are a weak man. Just like the Boehner guy whose party caved today in D.C. If you take a peak, you ain't got a hair on your bald...........
head.

Well...I made it the first day without looking. If I didn't look by now, I should have no problem waiting until the package arrives.

Holiday mail delivery can be extremely slow and you could suffer a terrible delay. Probably won't see the package until next year.
Are you sure you can wait that long?

He carries a single digit handicap to a whale of a golf game. Nice tan, smoker's rasp in his voice and on the government dole. How can anyone not like the guy?
Plus he can cry on cue. So the ladies like him, too.

Is there such a thing as a DINO?
The reason one is lableled a RINO is that one attempts to disguise oneself such that other Republicans believe he is a limited government, pro life, capitalist. The true Republican, in the mold of Lincoln-to-Reagan, came up with the moniker to expose the charade.
No reason to disguise oneself if one is a Democrat. Other Dems will accept you as long as you profess to be in favor of expansive government, abortion and market control. Likewise they will exclude you if you don't. Just as Bob Casey from Pennsylvannia.

Suuuuuuure you were. Let's see 'em.
Invoice # : 1286038 Service : WILD CARD SPECIAL # of Cards : 15 Invoice Tracking Status Date Received 12/12/2011 Shipped 12/22/2011 Details Item # Year Publisher Set Card# Player Name Description Grade 1 1909-11 Polar Bear T206 CHICK GANDIL 30 2 1910 Cycle Cigarettes T206 LOU FIENE Throwing 40 3 1909-11 Polar Bear T206 DOC WHITE Pitching 30 4 1909 Piedmont Cigarettes T206 FIELDER JONES Portrait 40 5 1910 Piedmont Cigarettes T206 BILL BURNS 50 6 1910 Piedmont Cigarettes T206 FRED PARENT 40 7 1909 Sweet Caporal Cigarettes T206 FRANK SMITH Chicago, F. I was hoping that the Polar Bear Gandil and Sweet Cap White would get 40's, and I only expected to get a 30 on the Cycle Fiene - so I guess that evens out.
I was happy that I got a 60 on the Kerr Exhibit - it was a card that I bought raw at the local antique mall for $35. Also glad to see that the W572 Faber got a numerical grade - I was afraid that it would only get an A.
I was 1 for 2 on my crossover attempts. The Cracker Jack was a PSA 3, and the 37 Appling Exhibit was a PSA 4 that I put a min. grade of 50 on.
Everything else graded out as I expected them to.
Some scans to follow soon...

Some of the highlights from my sub:
Here's the 1921 Kerr Exhibit...
...and the 1914 Lord Cracker Jack...
...the 1923 W572 Faber...
...and the Fiene Cycle 350.
Sorry for the large scans!
