Ok I know this isn't part of the 58 set thread but wanted to share in another hobby ive been tinkering with. Got my Grandfathers 1978 BMW R1000 that ive been getting back around. Still knocking the dust off it. This is a great project that im tackling with my Dad.



Here is my latest 58 Topps Pickup to stay with the thread and passion for my Collecting side

Hey fine by me. Anything you can do with your Dad, do it. They're not around for ever. Mine passed on in 2007, and while we did a lot together, I wish we had done more.

Some pics i don't think i posted. Yep im still putting the set together and love it more and more. Just not spending as much on it as i was. The Motorcycle needed attention so it go it but now attention to be paid to the set more.

Well been looking really hard at some of my Mid grade cards that may get a bump. I think this is fun and quite enjoyable. Much better than jumping out of a perfectly good aircraft to earn a set of wings...........LOL........just kidding but still quite fun.

Big thanks to Goldenhawk for still working on the set with me. Daniel is on hold for now but knowing Boyd is putting the set together still gives me drive and another 58 collecting partner.

Anyone started a new set lately? I love the 62 Set of Trex and am following it......great stuff guys

Thanks Jim! Here is a pickup ive had my eyes on for the last few days. The beater SGC 40 I had did not have any eye appeal so was able to pick this one up. Not a good scan but will get another one uploaded soon.
