I have a crazy idea...I'm thinking we as the SGC community could help Daniel and Blackie complete their 1958 Topps sets. If everyone pitches in $20, and if we can get 5-10 guys to contribute, we can buy Blackie and Daniel a nice card to help them complete their sets, perhaps a $50+ card.
Anyone else in? I will organize this and if you are cash-strapped & prefer to send me $20-ish worth of cards rather than $, I will toss them up on eBay and use the proceeds to help fund this project. We can then have Blackie and Daniel send us their want list/condition requirements and surprise them each with a nice card from that list of our choice.
I'm in at $20, if anyone else is, pm me how you want to contribute $/cards towards this end...

I've decided to keep contributions anonymous as some folks here just don't have the extra $ to spring but still support/appreciate your efforts (I don't want people to feel obligated or pressured to pitch in if they are cash-strapped)...That said, if you want to post "I'm in pm sent" that's cool too. I'll give this thread a week or so and see what PM's I get. If people can contribute even $10-15 worth of cash or cards that will work to!
