Just recieved my package from SSS2 sportscards today. I purchased a NM raw Jim Lemon and Hal Smith. I never had an issue with them before and had great service. This time the poop hit the fan. They sent the two cards in a top loader back to back...in the same holder mind ya.....and put it in a bubble mailer. I recieved the cards today and the top holder was bent in half. USPS's fault well some yes but ive been buying alot of raw from Battersbox and they always wrap the cards very nice and put them between cardboard etc. SSS let me down bigtime!! I just wrote them and asked for a full refund. Packing seems to be an issue with them now. The total cost of the purchase was only around 20 bucks but still you don't take a NM+ card and put it back to back in a top loader (old one at that) and not even use a penny sleeve at all.

Just wanted to share this.............i take back what i posted about good raw card sellers with there name on the list. Yes they sell in volumes but so does many others whom continue to care for their customers.

I know Pat but what "takes the cake" is the fact that they wold put two cards in a old rigid top loader back to back. I remember using these and had to be careful not to damage the corners just putting one card in.

I learned a valuable lesson though and will not purchase from them again........no matter how nice the card looks. Feedback can be decieving

\:\( Sorry to hear this. I am not familiar with "SSS", but I hope they can find a way to make it right for you. Maybe you can propose something like having them use their resources to find 2 more card in a similar condition? Just a thought!

Joes Vintage is Awsome and great folks to talk to about the hobby. My best vintage raw on ebay has come from battersbox. He is right on line with his grading on the 1958's
