ynnek4,

Even though the postcard is bigger than a normal baseball card (2.5x3.5), it is not considered "oversized" - oversized cards are the types like T3's and R312's that go into the largest holder that SGC offers.

Your postcard will be slabbed in the medium-sized holder that is commonly called a "tall boy"...and will probably have to be submitted under the Express service since the value of the card is probably somewhere between $250-500.

Hope this helps!

I think it should just fit in a tallboy slab so not oversized unless its larger than a normal postcard then its oversize

thanks for all of the info.

i sent it off to sgc so we will see what happens.

i was curious though, did 100 year old postcards have a gloss/sheen to them? i have a postcard from the 1950-60s and it did have a sort of gloss to it.

makes me a bit nervous.

on the submission status what does "not graded" mean. there are some grades assigned though.

maybe they are not done?

It means they are graded at this point but not posted as of yet on your submission. At this point i usually load them into my registry. What grade is it showing?

When the grades pop it typically is when it is also showed shipped.

thanks for the reply. here are the scores thus far. when i had a previous card graded it had a lot more scores/votes.

is this normal to have such low scores or are they in the process of grading it?

thanks.
