Guys ive run into some issues with completing my new home and have ran into some financial tight spots even in the back of my mind thinking i may have to sell my cards...uggh. Im going to put collecting on hold for a bit till i get caught up so i can close on my house. I won't go into detail on the boards main page but if you want to know whats going on please send me a PM.
I love collecting but my priorities are getting my family in this house.
Thank you all so very much for your support as i love these boards. I will be back but have to get this house completed before i loose it and the land.

Rob,
Sometime things come up in life. As Pat said, family comes first. I've had to put a lot of my collecting on hold as well. Right before Christmas I had an emergency appendectomy and my out of pocket expenses were a little over $3K. Just as I was getting that paid off and looking forward to finishing some sets, my accountant told me last month that I owe the IRS $4300. I'm still collecting, but my budget is limited. Anyway, good luck with whatever you have to do. Keep us informed.

Sounds like you have your priorities in the proper order. The best to you and your family. Even if you put collecting on hold you can still visit your friends on the board. Stay in touch and send pics of your new place as it is completed.

Rob,
I hope that your home issue gets resolved soon. It would be a bummer if you had to sell off some or all of your collection because of it - but remember, the cards will always be there for you to buy again after you get through this.
Like everyone else here has said...home and family comes before baseball cards!
