I had a 7 card order logged on 4-27 and I'm hoping it shows the grades today..It was a 20 day 70-up sub.

TC, The Roberts card is 4/5 all day long, except for a notched bottom edge (presumably from a rubber band?). You can see it a little bit better if you check the blown up scan in my set. The paper on the surface was raised and bent back pretty good. The 3 grade is a case of one flaw so much worse than any other small flaws, the grader decided to override the more positive aspects of the card (centering, surface gloss, color, focus). The corners are not even 3-quality; they're closer to 4. No creases either.
These are the cards I tend to gravitate toward when I buy raw. Great eye appeal for the grade at a reasonable price. Believe me, I've got plenty of crap cards, already in holders that I wonder, who graded this trash? Cards such as Roberts goes a long way toward making up for the junk I find already graded.
BTW, that Roberts card came from the large lot I bought from cammb last December, right here on the boards. As did Easter, Snider & Berardino. I think I'll go look at his upgrade Roberts right now. It must be nice for him to move this one.

Mike, inretrospect I like your Roberts better. No comparison as far as centering. I just went one grade higher. Heres mine.

Very nice cards bbo, those are in the condition I like collect and yes it only takes one bigger issue like the edge damage to bring down an otherwise EX+ card. Lots of bang for the buck imo, vs your normal high grade stuff.
I downgraded most of my high grade cards years ago and have been a lot happier collecting, when the price difference between a 3-5 is minimal then it really just gets down to eye appeal, and your 52's all seem to have lots of that, great cards.
