I say let the market decide. What have you got in it, a buck? If it has multiple bidders and watchers, let it ride. Found money, my man, found money.

Wow. I had no idea it may be very significant. I wondering if I should pull the auction and do some more research. Hmmmm...

My passion is the 1958 Topps Baseball Set! I only collect that set for right now and have read every article i could find, using every search engine i knew to look up any information on the 1958 Topps baseball set. It took me quite some time to pick up all the Yellow Varations and Numerical team cards but I have been able to get the most of the set thus far. The Herrea card will be a long term goal but I will complete this master set.

The card you have is very interesting. I haven't read anything on this varation as it is probably not known at this time. I was a bit skeptical at first thinking it may be a fake but I beleive you are on to something great. I have a feeling it will go for quite more than i can afford.. Let me know if you trade for guns....LOL

I agree. But if nobody in the market knows it exists, how can the market decide what it is worth?

Ebay is the largest auction house in the world. Believe me, it will be found by enough people. All you need is two idiots who want it. (Sorry, Blackie, no offense.) If you have three bidders and at least that many auction watchers, you'll get what it's worth.

You could always buy a ticket to Baltimore, spend a grand on hotel rooms and meals, drop a hundred on show admission to the National and walk it around to all 600 tables next month. You'll get low balled so many times you'll have to wear a cup, and end up selling for less than eBay.

You can research it all week and still not know anymore than you know now. You can put a reserve on it and scare away a couple of bidders. You can grade it and it'll come back a 3 or 4 due to the back crease.

Just sell it. It's not like it's Mantle or Ted Wms.

Haha! I guess really I just want the right people to know it exists.
