I don't even know who to ask about it. I may give Earl at SGC tomorrow to see if it can be graded as an error card. Its worth a shot. If i can sell my other .45 cal pistol then i could put down a pretty good bid on it. Gotta do my research first though. Did you put 6 days on it for auction can't remember?

That would be awesome. Let me know what he says. As for the auction, it ends in 4days 22hours. So Tuesday night around 9:00est.

Im keeping my eyes on it for sure brother. Thank you so much for sharing this card with us. I don't know about the other members but its got me excited about the possibility of other varations in the 58 set.

Well, the author of that article wasn't a ton of help either. He said he had never seen another card from this set with this printing defect. He did say it probably came to be during the printing process and not from the prepress setup. So basically it just missed the red ink step in the process. I still think after all these years we would have seen another card from 1958 with the same issue.

Oh, there are at least 131 other cards with exactly the same issue. There were 11 rows of 12 cards on each sheet. If Jackson missed the red print run, then all 131 others missed it. The question is, "How many sheets did they run through (or failed to run through)?"

Shout out to whoever is holding the other 131. Cough 'em up.

I would really like to just track down one more. I can't believe that with all of the technology we have, we can't find another. Either way, it has been fun.

This is the correct answer. It is not an error. It is from a sheet that didn't make it through the red ink pass. It could still be pretty rare and worth some money.
