I don't like the rules. What incentive is there for me to allow you to tap into my vast knowledge and intellect of the game with no compensation, other than "bragging rights." That's insulting. If you go to a doctor seeking advice you're expected to pay. Same thing with an attorney. Why should my knowledge be any different?
That being said, your rules not withstanding, I will come down from the Mount on September 4th and issue a prediction that you can "take to the bank." And not a day before.
After all on August 22 last year, how many folks had the Cardinals in the playoffs, let alone the WS and taking the whole thing to boot. Albeit the Texas Rangers saying "here take this we don't want it." Akin to the Republican party's propensity of continually snatching defeat from the jaws of victory....with all that happened over the weekend.

That qualifies as an excuse. I should eliminate you from consideration, but since I am a benevolent dictator (of this thread), I'll let it go once and one time only.
You don't have to play. Make up your own contest and any rules you want. But if you want to be King of This Thread, you'll make your entry here.
I should have put a deadline of August 31 on it, but since you brought up September 4, we'll go with that.

That would be great.Im going to predict the WS. winner will be 1 of the teams that make the playoffs.I should warn u guys im never wrong.On my 3 children i predicted boy or girl.I was right all 3 times.

I'm gonna go with a rematch of the 1919 World Series - White Sox vs. Reds. But this time, the White Sox win (in 7).
