Here is an idea.A special to grade any card that was graded by SGC before the 1/2 grade was initiated.This would include any card was graded by SGC as a 6 earlier & the other lower grades that now have a 1/2 grade.I think 4 bucks because uve already pd.once to get the card graded.

Not a bad thought Boyd. I am going to look through this weekend and see what cards could get that possible "bump". Im going to hold off sending any in for that until I reach my goal of 100% on the set. Have several cards I need to submit and hopefully more after this weekend.

Good idea! I think some kind of low price review special would be real cool, maybe two levels to cover some expensive cards too. Hey we have already paid the grading fees once.

I know when PSA did their .5 money grab switch they got a lot of grief because no card could be down graded (biggest issue was what if they found a trimmed card etc then they just returned it ouch), I think a smart move would be to say if any card is found to be overgraded`/altered/etc they first get the card in the right holder and second work with the submitter to make up for any potential loss, maybe cash or vouchers. Would show they care that every SGC card is graded correctly and they are in no way just doing it to bump up submissions.

I think they should have a grade your set special. I would imagine alot of us out here have sets that are partially graded but have tons of common cards in card savers! I have a 56 and 59 set with the stars graded and the commons right in front of them in card savers. Would cost me an arm and a leg to grade those 700 common cards......if they threw us a bone in the form of a nice special I bet they'd make out ok.

Since it doesn't say that, I'm putting together a 30+ card sub of some of the nicest 1959 commons and minor stars I've accumulated since my last 1959 sub nearly a year ago. I've subbed less than 50 cards for my 1959 set in the past 365 days and a small 20-card sub of 1952's just to see what the grades looked like for my mid-grade 52 set. Pretty rough, so I won't be sending any 1952 cards in, even under this special.

Thanks for bringing the wording of the special to our attention. It has been clarified on the website.

The Football Kickoff Special is for 1948-Present football cards only.
