Razorbacks lose at home a week before hosting #1 Alabama.

Oops! At home, no less

With a financially bankrupt coach (John L. Smith) and a morally bankrupt previous coach (Bobby Petrino), I guess a physical bankruptcy on the field was inevitable. Sooey pig, indeed.

Thanks Mike we feel bad enough. Over confidence, lack of preparation will cause a loss any given Saturday.

John L. Smith was a complete bust at Michigan State - nothing indicated that he would be any better anywhere else. Good job of selling himself to another employer.

My team (KSU) has outscored their opponents 103-22. Just saying. ;\)

It was a good day in the NFL yesterday. My Texans won and every other AFC South team lost. Philly won (my NFC Super Bowl prediction). Saints and Packers lost. Yesterday was great!

Texans have talent, no doubt. They also historically succumb to the injury bug quite often. Stay healthy and that offense only gets better as the season goes along. By playoff time though, other Defensive Coordinators will have figured them out and likely bounce them after a game or two.

My prediction this year is SF vs. NE in the Big Bowl Game. Brady & Belichek get one more ring.

Arkansas was in pretty deep with Petrino's ouster so late. Who were they gonna get? JoePa wasn't available. Butch Davis? Pretty slim pickens.

I want to see how they rebound (or not) at home vs. Bama this weekend. Without QB Wilson, it could be ugly. I think he will play, but how effectively?

Word in Fayetteville is Wilson will be back on Saturday. How effective he plays will be a part of it but im really hoping the "mental state" of the players is there. When you loose to a Sun-Belt Team being in the SEC it makes you an easy target of all types of crap.

Alabama will come to play and play hard as they always have. We have had to prove ourselves form the getgo in this conference. On the flip side, I watched a great little league 5th grade game the other day which was much more exciting......just trying to stay motivated.

I ONLY WISH

Perhaps this week Alabama will be looking ahead.
