After last night, I am not spiking the football yet, but I am working on my touchdown dance.

There were two things that I really liked:

1.) When Obama said there were tax breaks for companies that ship jobs overseas and Romney was very quick to correct him. The look on his face was priceless.

2.) When Romney threw Obama's "green jobs" failures in his face.

Romney took the fight right to him and never backed down. Obama couldn't even look at him. Obama looked as nervous as a whore in church.

Yes, Jim, the failures of the last 4 years were finally exposed.

Talking about energy policy…..

“Had a friend who said,” you don’t just pick the winners and losers, you pick the losers.”

Never underestimate the obama machine, especially when the mainstream press doesn't report anything negative towards obama.

Case and point... The Middle east coverup, Fast and Furious, and any gaff that comes out of his mouth, like saying the situation in the North Africa and the Middle East was a "bump in the road", or condeming the murder or our Libyan ambassador and then flying to Vagas for a compaign rally.

I wouldn't do too much celebrating just yet.

Romney's campaign has to get its act together. Romney has just reset the race.

You're exactly right and that's the reason these debates are so important. They let Romney get his point across without the media spin or any media bias or editing.

If you're the average Joe and the media is your only source of information, then all you've heard is how Romney doesn't care about grandma, wants to take away social security, wants to give tax breaks to the wealthy, against Wall Street reform, doesn't care about the middle class, etc, etc, etc. The debates lets folks get to see the real Romney, not the Romney that the media portrays him to be.

That's why he absolutely destroyed Obama last night. Obama didn't know what to do up there without a teleprompter. He looked as sluggish as his failed economy. Next week Ryan gets to make Biden look like an idiot, and that's not too hard.

Don't you just know the Obama team is dreading the vice presidential debate next week? They're hoping Biden doesn't get up there and say something stupid. Good luck with that.

It would have been different if Obama had looked stronger in last night's debate and that might have given them a bit of momentum going into the next debate. But after next week the Obama team will have lost two debates in a row and it's going to be very tough for them to recover from that going into the third debate.

Debates have a way of surprising us, yesterday being a perfect example. No one (except Chris Christie that I heard) predicted such a blowout. This was Da 1985 Bears vs. New England or any of the Denver Broncos blowout losses in the late 1980's.

I am going on record right now to say Biden holds his own and the old man makes Ryan looks geeky and wonky but does nothing else to improve his own image.

I also think Obama will overdo it his next time at bat in two weeks and he comes across looking like a bully. And Romney will school him again. Look, Romney is an MBA, CEO, smart rich guy. He didn't wake up on third base and thought he hit a triple. The man prepares extensively, has incredibly accurate gut instincts and reads people very, very well.

Mark it down. The next Presidential Debate in two weeks will be high theater. Don't miss it.

I think Ryan will school Biden. It will be an even bigger beatdown that Romney gave Obama.
