Oh ,and we not allowed to have guns!

No of course not,old British law. We can own only a single action rifle/shotgun for hunting with a license. Anything else is a specialty license as a collector, have to belong to a gun club ,and only carry to and from your registered home without stopping anywhere in between. Hard on me since I trained as a small arms instructor in the airborne and can't own anything...bs. ----------------------------------- Definition of a prohibited firearm
According to the Criminal Code, a prohibited firearm is:
a handgun that has a barrel equal to or less than 105 mm in length, or is designed or adapted to discharge a 25 or 32 calibre cartridge, but does not include any such handgun that is prescribed, where the handgun is for use in international sporting competitions governed by the rules of the International Shooting Union, a firearm that is adapted from a rifle or shotgun, whether by sawing, cutting or any other alteration, and that, as so adapted, is less than 660 mm in length, or is 660 mm or greater in length and has a barrel less than 457 mm in length, an automatic firearm, whether or not it has been altered to discharge only one projectile with one pressure of the trigger, or any firearm that is prescribed to be a prohibited firearm

Joe Biden's teeth are so white, Wisconsin basketball coach Bo Ryan offered them a scholarship.

Debates have a way of surprising us....
I am going on record right now to say Biden holds his own and the old man makes Ryan looks geeky and wonky but does nothing else to improve his own image.
I nailed it.
Biden's interruptions and boisterous activity tonight was a bonus, but also predictable since that's what you have to resort to when you're desperate to make up lost ground. He looked very, very non-presidential, something we already knew.

Debates really aren't for people that have already made up their mind who they're voting for, they're for the undecideds. If you've already decided who you're voting for, is there anything the other party can say at this point that would change your mind? I disagree that he held his own. Maybe with his own base that is true, but to the undecideds his behavior was a major turn off and I believe it cost their party a lot of votes. When you interrupt someone 82 times in a 90 minute debate (not including the head shaking, eye rolls and arrogant smiles), that says that you can not run on your merits, you have to resort to desperate measures (as you said above). The CNN poll showed that Ryan won the debate 48% to 44%. The real numbers had to be much higher given the fact that CNN is a liberal news organization.

Debates (arguably) can only hurt the incumbent. It gives equal stage to the challenger. It happened to Bush-41, Bush-43 and Obama, among others. Obama did so bad, Biden could get away with anything and "hold his own" which he did. On the debate merits, it was pretty close to a tie. The segment Biden got hurt with was undecided women, but there are few of those because of the abortion issue. Doubtful many women changed their vote.
Biden was clearly the experienced debater, not letting his opponent get away with anything. Ryan played "prevent defense" and did a good job at it. You could say both camps were successful.
Also worth noting, Martha Raddatz interrupted Ryan something like 36 times and interrupted Biden only 8 times.
