Been concentrating on my 1981 topps football set but made a quick little offer tonight on ebay and the seller accepted which allowed me to add this "MOOSE" card to my 58 set



case is a bit scratched but i can send it in for re-holdering later on

Nice Rob keep plugging away. I think you got the NM bug that set might get completed someday but it'll be a constant work in progress all you new pick ups are nm+ lately.

Yeah very true Daryl, I just cant pass up nice NM cards for the set. Its going slow building it but im not gonna quit.

Thanks John. Its nice to be able to pick up decent cards for cheap and I got real lucky on the "moose" card. Picked this one up tonight for a good deal as well.

Cards from the 50's in 8, for under $10. Glad I'm not selling. Guess the good ol' days are long gone for sellers.

On the buy side, most of the 9's I've bought for my mid-60's sets, I've picked up for $40 to $50, with a couple in the low $30 range and a couple in the mid $60 range. A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do.

Anyone seen any 58 SGC out there lately. Been rather quite on ebay except for high dollar cards or sellers wanting premiums. Seems like when you get closer to finishing it gets harder.
