Just got my power today at 6pm. Sustained some damage but nothing earth shattering. I live on Long Island and 750,000 are without power. I think Rob got hit harder being from Staten Island. Hope he is OK. Thanks for thinking of us. You guys are great. Tony

Tony,
Glad to hear you're safe. I hope your life gets back to normal as quickly as possible.
Hopefully Rob will chime in soon.

Glad things were not too bad Tony, now hoping things are ok with Rob. Been through my share of Hurricanes and nothing fun about them. I lost power for 8 days with Ike and I was lucky in that my water never went out. Granted 8 days without power and I was out of food by day 6, many lessons learned the hard way.
I hope everyone gets power back on soon!

Hey guys, we definitely did get hit hard, but I am very lucky not to have damage to my house.
I have no power, but I am at a good friends house who is fortunate to have power. Staten Island saw a lot of devastation from this storm, and like I said I am very lucky.
Thanks to all on the board who has shown their concern, I really appreciate it. You guys are like a second family to me.
Rob

Glad to hear there is no home damage, Rob. I was watching the news last night and they said all the subways were flooded and it could take a long time to clean that up - and that nearly 8 million people a day ride the subway to school, work, etc. I can see where this could have a lasting impression on a lot of people.
Still have to be careful too. I also heard of one lady that went out after the storm to access the damage and stepped on a downed power line and it electrocuted her.

The NFL because of parity and the hard salary cap runs in cycles. Kind of like the stock market. What's out of favor now, comes back into favor eventually. Unless you're the Cleveland Browns.
Mobile QB's have a hard time in this day and age. And defenses are just incredibly faster now, if you have the right personnel matched with the right system. Texans do. Eagles? Meh. They'll be back someday. Maybe a new QB, new coaching, but they'll be back.
