I got my Johnny Evers CSA 8 crossed over to SGC, waiting to see what i got.
CSA is a Canadian grading company, thos that dont know. Like many others say, its a nice card (mine was too) but its not from the top 3 compnaies.

Keep us updated on what ya get. Ive never seen a CSA crossed over and have seen several nice cards in CSA slabs but was always worried bout em.

I totally agree, some nices ones from CSA, but others say, its more customer appreciation to them. Giving higher grades and such. Most experts have to agree, they might be less knowledgable and dont look at anything "trimmed" This is most opinions about CSA history.

I have been successful crossing CSA's with the blue inserts. Any other CSA's to me are questionable.

MAIL call: well the CSA8 came back......
as altered

What does that mean? They sent it back in its original CSA holder. Well it is not marked trimmed.
So what does this mean?

Could be color added or print enhanced. More than likely its trimmed.

SGC didnt check it off as trimmed, SGC checked it as altered.
I was trying to find what they meant? Wouldnt they slabbed it, if it was trimmed? I seen cards marked that before. Im still new to this grading stuff and how it works and what to look for.

SGC doesnt indicate trimmed on its slab. They use "Authentic". If you didnt check the box on the submission invoice they will not slab it.

I am going to sell it then. I did write "authentic"
in the description, since thats what it would be by SGC. Still a great card. Basically selling it at cost.
