I decided to start this thread, because Beckett has one like it. It will tell us, what your wants and needs are.
I have cards new & old that are sitting around that may be of interest to other people.
I'll start 1st: I mainly been collecting Mickey Mantle cards, but have collected others of value.

My three favorite sets vintage! Have the stars minus the clemente in 7+ just need the commons in 54 and 55. 56 is done just resisting the urge to always try and upgrade it.

Currently working on '54 thru '56 Topps sets. 1954 - only missing Aaron  1955 - have all the commons, missing about 8 stars 1956 - only missing Mantle Starting to buy lots of '60s commons in Ex/Mt or better as I plan on going after those next. I also collect pre-war and post-war HOFers.
Sent my 54 Aaron for grading, waiting to see what it gets.
I also got the 56 #135 Mantle, graded by PSA 1 (poor) but still nice to own

Anyone collecting 53 topps, I got some collecting dust? in raw condition, they could be 5+, but i dont know?

right now 52 bowman with almost perfect centering l/r.
a little more forgiving t/b but still pretty strict

Im going to have to say my first priority is finishing the 1981 Topps Football set in as close to MINT condition as possible.
Secondly I wanna finish my 1958 Topps Baseball set in all SGC. Im at 62% now and have slowed down to an almost halt at this point but still wanna complete it.
Third I wanna try to pick up a few cards in the next few years that I just wanna have in my little collection. Here are a few:
1975 George Brett
1979 Ozzie Smith
1968 Nolan Ryan
1986 Jerry Rice
1984 Dan Marino
1979 Wayne Gretzky (the only hockey rookie i want)
1965 Joe Namath
Just a few rookies ive had and let go that i want back.....and keep this time.

Even in the condition that PSA says its in, this is one beautiful card and is a classic! Great card brother.

I own the most gorgeous 1981 Topps football set ever assembled. It's raw, but would blow away anything that 's on the registry. It’s complete minus the Montana RC. I assembled it myself several years ago from a dealer that bought in bulk back in 1981. He must have had 40-50 of each card (several 5000 ct boxes). I went thru card by card picking out the best ones for my set. It’s for sale if you’re interested.

This set is my Memory Lane and is the one set that I will never part with period. I was talking to trex the other day and have pictures of me as a kid with these cards on the kitchen table.

Love picking up Mantles.
Got 1 here from Tony and picked another on ebay.
(1965 #134 SGC 86 card) and now a (1961 #475 PSA 4)
I am not picky on grades, i just like to put a collection of Mantles together

First post on this board. So excited to find it. Looks to be the BEST message board on cards.
What I am collecting now..
Need Topps Baseball Complete Sets from 2001 & 2009
Need Topps Football Completes sets from 1993 thru 2012
Then when I am not buying those, I buy Pre War cards. I really enjoy buying T-206, T-205 & T-201 of players that are not in the HOF, but do have a special place in History from back then. Such as Fred Merkle, Fred Snodgrass, & Topsy Hartsell. CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A ED Reulbach!! If you have one for under $40, let me know!!
But I am ALWAYS looking for HOF's too for good money.
I am NOT a biggy on grades and only have 1 graded cards (T-205 Eddie Cicotte). But I DO NOT collect anything with pin holes, writing, paper loss or tears/rips.
Again, SO GLAD TO BE HERE!!!

Yea, entire set, preferably factory sealed.
I AM, however interested in 1972, football & baseball.
Thats what I did with 1973 thru 1982 baseball and football. I bought Big "Lots" off of EBAY, ones that covered me on at least less than 100 needed to complete. Then I would buy the rest off of "Sportlots.com".
But WOW, those dang 1972 high #'s are too much for me!!

Collecting all Topps regular series Detroit Tiger cards. Completed 1956 and 1967-present. VG-VG/EX
Rookie cards of post war rookie cards. Have all from 1953 to present. Most of what I lack are the pricey ones. Looking for EX/MT and below.
All league leaders. Need some from 1961, 1963-65.
1980 Topps HoFers in Mint condition. Lacking about 6.
