brick, seeing as how your buckeyes are serving a well deserved time-out for cheating, how about the winner of Florida - Florida State?

First posited (and posted) here at 3:34 P.M.

Oregon's 14 points at home is despicable and old-man Snyder's zero fourth quarter points* is embarrassing for both of these sorry, over-hyped, undeserving programs. Oregon will likely get Nebraska or Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl and K-State is facing the real possibility of the Cotton Bowl (also predicted by me, if the board's resident researcher wants to find it) and a serious can of whoop-ass courtesy of LSU.

*Ya gotta play all four quarters, unless you're just a quitter.

On a related matter, time for some of us to update their sig-line. (I did.)

I would like to see the BCS numbers with OSU, just for the visual. Particularly if they beat Michigan. A top two finish would be interesting. A school that actually lost a chance at the National Championship for some tattoos. Probably one of the few schools that have actually been penalized.

Technically, they lost a chance at the NC because several players sold/bartered team merchandise for money/benefits, a clear violation of NCAA rules (for which they knew better and had undoubtedly been counseled on upon signing up for the free college ride). Furthermore, Tressel knowingly let it go on and lied about it to investigators. They should have gotten the death penalty like SMU did 30 years ago.
