Maybe a little overgrading on the Mantle? It's centered well, corners look good. How's it look in hand? Slight tilt, you think that's enough to keep it from NM

Im a very new collector and have only been doing this since 2003. Everyone here seems to be into vintage cards. The two cards of mine above are the very first submission ever a 2005 Verlander Just Minors 16/50 and a SP of the pie in the face Strasburg RC.
Others I received
2007 Bowman chrome Mike Moustakas-96
2008 Miguel Cabrera Blue refractor 99/299-98
2011 Eric Hosmer RC orange refractor 45/99-96
2009 David Freese refractor RC 66/599-98
I am a huge Royals fan so you might see alot of those posted.

That's because only cards before 1990 are worth grading, I have lots of modern cards and autos with no need to grade,of course they are 96 al least, whoopeedo!

I am very new to grading as this is my first submission to any grading company. While everyone suggested Beckett for modern cards after alot of research IMHO I felt SGC is the better grading company overall. So in your opinion it is not worth my time and money to have my cards graded? I have a Mike Trout auto from 2011 Topps Finest that Beckett had sky rocket from $80 to $250. I was going to have it graded but would you suggest against it? I am a collector and keep my cards and one day will hand them down to my new 7 month old son.Thanks for the reply.

SGC is great for old cards. Every person has their reasons for which grading company to choose, but that discussion could go on for several pages. so heres the "skip" function. Save your $$ and put it in a screw-down holder (my opinion)

Welcome to the boards, nice cards.
There are tons of modern cards worth grading and SGC is a super pick, I think you will be happy. Too many people judge grading cards strictly on a "make money basis", let people collect the way they choose. There is no wrong or right.
The modern I have graded look awesome-
