Won the bet, but was also hoping to win the game outright. Miles’ trickery cost them the game.

Congrats to my KSU Wildcats beating OSU 44-30. It is the 4th time this year we’ve beaten a ranked opponent. Who else can say that?

1. Bama
2. Kansas State
3. Oregon
4. Notre Dame
5. Georgia

I think Oregon will jump ND after their impressive offensive performance against USC and the fact that ND came very close to getting beat by Pitt.

Line did close at 7 and a hook at most sportsbooks.
Very enjoyable game to watch.
Les Miles did everything he could to screw up that game.

I think Oregon will jump K State before the end of the season. Thats a shame. How about ND playing Bama and Oregon and K State matching up then the winners meet for the Championship. Guess we'll have to wait.

I love Kansas sports in general, Royals especially. My father in law graduated vet school from Kstate so needless to say he is thrilled right now. Klein better get healthy and he better win the Heisman.

ND vs. Bama would make the vast majority of the viewing public and TV suits happy. Can you imagine the month-long lead up to the tradition-rich powerhouses of defensive juggernauts brought by the current version of the Crimson Tide & Fighting Irish? Few (if any) fan bases are as passionate, knowledgable and travel-ready in large numbers as Alabama and Notre Dame.

What a ratings disaster and college football travesty the other matchup would have been! Thank goodness for Baylor Bears and Stanford Cardinal. Defense wins championships. Looks as if that will play out again this year.

Congrats to LSU for holding off Arkansas in the Battle for the Boot. Now if Auburn will just upset Alabama and Georgia Tech will get revenge on Georgia, we can really have some chaos in the BCS. LSU got in with two losses in 2007 and won it all. A flickering hope remains for Bayou Bengal fan. Who knows, maybe Oregon or Kansas State can back into the championship picture, assuming they can take care of Oregon State and Texas?

Just goes to show, Yogi Berra was right when he said, "It ain't over 'til it's over."
