I'm a vintage guy myself, most of my grading is from 69 and back but come on... There are plenty of great modern cards worth grading. I am personally not a fan of the new chase cards or the manufactured rarities but what's a 15 year old kid or maybe younger probably gonna collect? Cards of the guys they see play. It ain't there fault they never saw Aaron, Williams etc! I for one think encouraging younger collectors is the way to go. Slab that Trout rookie, just hope he's more of a Mantle clone than a Fred Lynn clone. Ol Fred had a monster rookie year and........ Well a decent career.

Well said. Why discourage anyone from collecting and slabbing any card they want.

SmtJoy i think made a great point and I love the Goldschmidt auto, he has a deceiving amount of power. I follow baseball from A ball on. I go down to Surprise AZ for spring training almost every year. That is what got me collecting in the first place. Thanks for the advice and I do really like SGC after my first submission. I still cant believe they got my cards to me in the turn around time with all they went through.

The 65 is my favorite Mantle from the sixties. That's my favorite sixties set..... Well it's a toss up 65 or 67.
