I was curious as to if SGC takes cards submitted in Ultra Pro Semi Rigid holders. These are so much like Card Saver I's that i can hardly tell the difference. I can get these much cheaper than card savers. Also what ever happens to our card savers that we send our cards in??

I've sent them in those before. Come on, can anybody really refuse to grade cards if they don't use Cardboard Gold? If that is the case, something isn't very pure.

I agree.........I just had to ask. I know PSA suggested these when I submitted to them several years ago. I was excited to see that you could get a box of 200 Ultra for a few bucks cheaper and save even more buy larger bulk quantities.

I pretty much submit them in whatever I have handy (cardsaver or ultra pro) and never had a problem. I know they do use them in the grading process by putting a sticker on them to id and mark them up to help with the grading process.

You getting a sub ready Rob?

Same here, I send them in whatever I have to both SGC and PSA, never had a problem.

No yet. I may sub some decent raw 58's again at some point. Was going to do the 81 FB set but it looks so good raw in binders.

If it were me, I'd keep the 81 FB in binders. Maybe grade a star or two, but not the commons.
