Just a thread to hear opinions from collectors that collect differnt set's.

Would you choose the wood bordered 62's, the black boarded 71's or another issue maybe?

I would say the 71's. Black shows any faults more easily than anything else in my opinion. Just like paint color on a vehicle..black shows dirt

1971 Topps.

1968 Topps are probably the most forgiving

Is it my imagination or was the 71 issue smaller somehow?? Sometimes they just look that way to me. Probably is my imagination. Those black boarders are a nightmare. What about 75's?

They look smaller because the border width was very narrow on many of the cards.

any year witha colored boarder is a nightmare. 69's are a centering nightmare also.
