Best college football game of the year, if not all-time. Alabama 32 - Georgia 28. That, boys and grills, was the National Championship. I don't care what happens in Miami next month.
Either one of those powerful SEC teams would represent well against ND. This time, it's 'Bama. Could've been UGA. Congratulations to both on a great season and CHAMPIONSHIP.

Did you see the post-game interview with coach Richt, he said "the clock simply ran out." How true is that? What a game. That was indeed the National Championship game.
Six SEC teams in the top ten as of today.
Clock ran out alright. If there had been 4 minutes left on the clock instead of 2 and change on Alabama's last possession , the Tide would have covered the point spread. I know, I'm a degenerate. Just sayin

Was a good game, shame Georgia just did not spike ball maybe could have had 2 plays to throw in end zone. This game is not even close to being best game of all time Okl vs Boise was way better few years ago. Georgia just got worn down and could not stop the run, some NFL teams wish they had Alabama offensive line. Best game of the year,Johnny football picking apart Alabama.

Both coaches (Saban and Richt) were well prepared for the other team. Few penalties, fewer mental mistakes, except for a couple of coaching brainfarts (Saban 1st half not taking TO & Richt failing to instruct Murray to spike it). Better players won out in the end. As for Okl vs Boise, when Boob Stoops learns how to prepare and coach in a bowl game against inferior competition, send me a telegram by pony express. I've seen numerous college games that dwarfed that laugher in Arizona between a couple of D-II quality teams. (1) KY over LSU in 3OT in 2007 comes to mind immediately, witnessed in person. (2) Auburn-Oregon in 2010 NC game. (3) Ohio State-Miami NC game, though ruined by bad officiating, had some fine play on the field. (4) Alabama 14 - Penn State 10 in 1979 Sugar Bowl. (5) Michigan 40-34 over Ohio State a couple years ago. (6) Just about any Michigan-Ohio State game, especially if MEEEEEEEEEECHIGAN wins. (7) Just about any Nebraska-Oklahoma game in the 1970's, particularly 1971, won by Nebraska (in Norman) 35-31.
Those are real-men football games, not fraternity flag football with trick plays and proposals to cheerleaders after the game.
